The Only Animal In Nature That Naturally Regenerates Its Antlers Every Year
The deer is the only animal in nature that regenerates its antlers annually. Each day, the antlers grow by approximately two centimetres over a period of six to eight weeks, eventually reaching a weight of 16-17 kilograms. This natural cycle involves shedding the old antlers and regrowing new ones every year.
This remarkable process is driven by natural proteins found in the antlers that promote cell growth and accelerate healing through the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis). Moreover, the chemical composition of deer antlers includes 300+ active compounds along with growth factors-such as collagen, amino acids, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, minerals, and bioactive substances like glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, hyaluronic acid, and pantocrine.
